On the last day everybody on the bus wrote a little note on their experience of Stop the Bus.

Jemina:
This Stop the Bus campaign really opened my eyes. I saw the great need the farm people have and they welcomed us and all the information we gave them. I am so greatful that I was part of changing lives. I will always remember this trip. I was introduced to and did new things but I had the team, my friends, to assist and engourage me. I have learned a lot, gained information and I saw wonderful places. The workshops went well and I am ready to empower women and children. It was a great experience.

Michelle:
With mixed feelings - looking forward to my own bed, but what a life changing experience. And the opportunity to see the “real Western Cape”…! Thank you so much to all involved.

Flo:
Ours was the DREAM TEAM, we planned together, implemented our plans together, evaluated our performance together, supported each other psychologically and yes; had lots of fun together: WHAT IS IT?? Thanks for everyone valued support; you made my task [as supervisor] easy.

Maxi:
An experience of cultural diversities, laughs, emotional triggers and education. It was a blast to be part of this fun group - love you all!

Joyce:
We can never be a society free from all kinds of violence until we all unite and fight the struggle.

The experience was great, the team was great, I made new friends and saw new places.

Pil:
I wirly think we did a difference, and we got a lot of contacts that Rape Crisis can use in the future. I´m very pleased to be a part of the team and I have learned a lot about South African culture. Thanks for everything.
