On the 2nd of December 2007 the second team took off from Cape Town.  rapecrisis3.bmpEverybody was very excited,  and the team had brought a lot of family and friends to wish them a safe and good trip and to see them off.

On the picture below you can see the team: Maxie, Johanna, Ma Joyce, Jemina, Flo, Pil, Ghalib and Kath with Michelle at the back and Chantel in front.

We were so lucky to have a birthday girl on our trip (just as the first team had). Johanna decided to celebrate her birthday on the road, and during the drive we sang happy birthday and celebrated with her.  Happy birthday Johanna!

After a five hour drive, which had both singing and dancing in the bus, we finally arrived at the Donkin Country House in Beaufort West.

We had our first debriefing meeting, where the next day was planned, and we talked about how this week is going to work out.  Everybody was very positive and looked forward to the start.

After a nice dinner, we all went to bed.
