Our work is done and as we head for home, we get the news that we should be on the lookout for our guides, no ordinary guides we are told.
We were delighted and felt our spirits soaring as we spotted the distinctive pink First for Women Trust Guardian Angels, who escorted the Bus safely back into Cape Town.
In the meantime, friends, family and staff waited patiently and burst into noisy excitement at the first glimpse of the pink Guardian Angels.
Barbara and Bajija, Crew from the N2 trip were there to greet us, knowing some of what it feels like for us returning from our trip.
A joyful pose from ‘Auntie’ Kathy and loads of smiles from everyone.
The Western Cape Network’s Hotbox was a sobering reminder of why we were there. Please let those you know that they can SMS ‘stop’ to 38797 to show their support for changing the social norms that exist in society.
Can anyone spot a certain Training and Development coordinator who shall remain nameless?
The faces behind the wheels of the First for Women Trust Guardian Angels.
Thank you to the special people at First for Women Trust and WOMANDKIND Worldwide.

YEAH!!!!! Well done to my fellow team members…You are great women, doing extraordinary work. The knowledge that I have gained during this trip will remain with me forever and nobody can take this wonderful experience away…Hope to do some more fantastic life changing work with the team at Rape Crisis in 2010.
Lots of love
